My favorite camp for the blind is Enchanted Hills Camp (EHC for short) in Napa, California. They have elementary school, junior high, high school, and family sessions as well as multidisabled and alumni sessions. If you want more info, the website is: http://www.lighthouse-sf.org/activities/ehc.htm

I've gone to Camp Bloomfield which is in Malabu, L.A. If you look it up on Google, you'll find it, there's everal pages about it. Also I went to the Technology camp at CSB (California School for the Blind) in Fremonte, CA. I dunno if that one is still going on though.

I will tell you about two, one of which I thoroughly enjoy.
There is Indian Creek camp in liberty Tennessee, a few hours outside of Cookville. Great camp, amazing fun stuff. Amazing no-drama of the blind people atmosphere
two sites:
http://www.indiancreekcamp.com
and the Chrsitian record site which you can find by doing a search on Google. Also, I have a Yahoo group dedicated to that camp, if you would like to jin, message me and i'll give you the info.
There is also Camp Dogwood in Charloote, NC. Recently, the administration has changed, so I don't know much about it since I haven't gone since 02. You can get some info on that one as well, through a Google. The Linos Club does it. Good camp in its own right, they each hold a place for me.
Take care,
In Him,
Dixie

Well the camp I go to every summer, and have been going to since 1991 is Camp Bowen. They have different sessians one can go to, for instance there's teen camp along with a technology camp, and of course my personal favorite, the adult sessians that run for three five day sessians. You can find more info on this by going to www.cnib.ca, and do a search on their site for bowen island camp for the blind!
